Divine Design — My Train Ticket Back Home

by Melody Jean

Divine Design — My Ticket Back Home Contemporary SeekerSometimes I speak in wordsmith like riddles.

This is one of those times.

Rumblings Inside

I know I’m on the brink of something beautiful that is utterly beyond my imagination.

Yet, for the life of me, I can’t determine exactly what.

However, I know it’s there and surely robust.

It’s rumblings have grown louder and are echoing in my soul.

The Ride Back Home

It’s time to rise even higher in this human realm.

Further it’s time to re-member where my soul originated; and enjoy my ride here, as much as possible, doing the best that I can with what I’ve been given.

This world is my train ticket back home in a way. There’s no other way out.

With that sentiment in mind, I penned the pseudo sonnet below.

I invite you to continue to rise higher with me, too, my friends.

Divine Design

As tides break upon my feet

It’s the truth, the source, that I reap

I’ve been had by human deeds undone

Yet it’s no matter, the one is my love

All who sought my humble shelter

skipped astray before I faltered

This is my intended design

It’s abounding now, for it’s my time

No ease, just gentle pain

It’s the tides of me, held in this vein

There is no hiding from the divine

The light is here, so I must comply

I’m inching closer to the essence, you see

The one that’s him, it’s you and it’s me
